Oz the Great and Powerful is a 2013  hollywood film that can be catagorized as a fantasy adventure movie. Sam Raimi is the director and Joe Roth is the producer of Oz the Great and Powerful movie.  Oz theGreat and Powerful is a Prequel of The Wizard of Oz. Oz the great and powerful is another successful distribution and production of walt disney Pictures and motion pictures and it has the storyline based on Oz novels by L. Frank Baum. The movie is presented with a starcast of James Franco as Oz, Michelle Williams, Mila Kunis, Rachel Weisz, Tony Cox, Zach Braff, Bill CobsJoey King and others.

story:Oscar Diggs, a magician in a traveling circus flirts with one's wife and the husband threatens him. He escapes in a hot air balloon but accidentally falls to a tornado that takes him to the land of Oz and meets a kind and naive witch, theodora who takes him to their palace believing that he is the prophesied wizard to kill the wicked witch of the land. he saves a monkey named Finley, and it becomes indebted to him while in the way Theodora falls in love with oz(Oscar). The older sister of Theodora, Evanora tells Oz to kill the wicked Witch By destroying her wand and in return he'll be declared the king of oz. Accompanied by finley and a china doll, Oz finds the witch, Glinda and gets her wand. But the truth she reveals is that she is the daughter of the late king and Evanora is the real wicked witch. Watching this in the crystal ball, Evanora tricks Theodora for her feelings for Oz and gives her a magic apple which turns her into a green skinned witch. Glinda takes Oz to her domain and asks for his help to stop Evanora. Oscar and glinda make plans of tricks and attack the city with their army containing Quadlings, Tinkers and Munchkins. Oscar  makes a false death of him when Evanora captures Glinda and prepares to kill him. Using a hidden smoke machine and projector Oscar makes an image of him in fire and smoke to show himself as atrue invincible wizard. Evanora hides in the castle being frightened and Theodora escapes failing to destroy the image. Glinda rescued by the China doll starts a dual fight and destroys Evanoras magic and she escapes threatening that she'll be back. afterwards all of them live happily.
